To repair or not to repair—that is the question. One of the most common questions about roofs is about whether your current roof needs to be replaced or if you can just fix it.

The truth? It may be both! If you’ve got water damage in your ceiling, for example, that’s a sign that you should probably look into replacing the roof. But if there are no leaks and your skylight needs an adjustment, that could be considered “fixable” work instead; especially if it was caused by wind (instead of rain) impacting the skylight’s sealant.

The standard warranty period for our labor is 10 years (2 years for repairs). The warranty on materials will depend on the brand/type of roof being installed.

The average warranty for metal roofing is 20 years – often higher than the industry standard of 10 to 15 years. The warranty plans are full-coverage protection against accidental leaks, shingle movement, hail damage and even asbestos containing materials found in older asphalt roofs!
